About the Chamber

MISSION STATEMENT

 THE MISSION OF THE CUERO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AGRICULTURE & VISITOR’S CENTER IS TO PROUDLY SUPPORT THE PROSPERITY OF OUR MEMBERS AND PROMOTE THE RICH HERITAGE OF OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH ENHANCED EDUCATION, STRONG LEADERSHIP, VALUEABLE SERVICES AND TOURISM. 

WHAT IT IS.

 Your Chamber is a voluntary, non-profit organization of citizens who are investing their time and money working together to constantly improve the economic well-being and quality of life of our community which creates a climate in which businesses can succeed. 

WHAT IT DOES.

 Your Chamber is a service institution. It provides a medium through which people can take effective action for the progress of the community. In all its functions your Chamber is serving as a partner of every business and every professional person in the area. 

HOW IT FUNCTIONS.

 Your Chamber membership is divided into committees, directors, and officers who work and serve without pay. The paid staff includes a manager and one full time secretary/receptionist.

HOW IT IS FINANCED.

 The work of the Chamber is financed by the investment of members and by fundraisers sponsored by the Chamber. Dues structure is designed to permit even the smallest business to be a member. Professionals, retirees, and individuals who are interested in the progress of the area are encouraged to join. 

Being a Chamber Member means being a part of a voluntary organization of citizens devoted to community development, economic, and the cultural well-being of our area.
