Mural Tour
Cuero's buildings come alive due to the detailed hand crafted art covering the interior and exterior walls. Whether coffee with turkeys, or antique medicine bottles, Cuero's murals have something for everyone.
Take the tour, and see if you can see what no one else has seen in the detailed murals.
Barbecue Station Mural
The Murals of the Barbecue Station include the main sign of the station, along with a few smaller paintings along the side of the building.

Bucky's Liquor Mural
It's whiskey and saddles, cow skulls and leather when you walk into this one of a kind liquor store on Highway 87. The mural painted on the store is of the resting cowboy type. A few cowboys, some horses, and the old west cover the building.

Courthouse Annex
In the alley behind the Courthouse Annex in Historic Downtown is the mural of a small garden, gazebo, and steps inviting you into painting. This mural is viewable from the courtyard area of the Courthouse Annex.

Cuero Intermediate School
Along the front face of the school is a mural showing the day to day lives of the students.
Cuero Little League Complex
It's the dream that keeps the motivation alive to push to achieve goals, and the mural of Baseball Players at the Cuero Little League Complex reminds the t-ballers and little league-ers what they can be one day.
Cuero Public Library
Joined with the Cuero Development Corporation, the Cuero Public Library has a few different views to offer. Whether scenes from classic children's novels, or the picture perfect afternoon of being lost in the words on a page, you can find a small reminder of your favorite story.

Cuero Yoakum Propane
It may be propane, but it is covered in Turkeys. Cuero Yoakum Propane shows its Gobbler Spirit by having a turkey, or a rafter of turkeys, depicted in the multiple exterior walls of the store.

Daule Education Facility
The Daule Education Facility, now used for various education programs, has a mural of its namesake in the main foyer. Also in this mural are the items that help contribute to Cuero: Turkeys, history, Cattle, and wildflowers.

Kleider Shranks
Between the Kaffee Haus and Bucky's Liquor store is the large mural on the side of Kleider Shranks. The classical imagery of an afternoon of sitting on the stone porch while the children play is the highlight of this mural.

KN Drive In
KN Drive In is the place to go to get an old fashioned mug root beer. American Style cooking, ice cream floats, and a drive through always stretched into the drive through make KN Drive In what it has always been: a family owned and operated local favorite. While there enjoy the view of the malt shop boy flirting with the local girls.

Main Street Kaffee Haus
It's coffee time with the turkeys. Inside this quaint coffee shop in Downtown Cuero on Main Street, is the painting of the Turkeys having coffee, sitting in their barn, looking out into the field behind them. Have a seat with Ruby Begonia and enjoy some coffee and kolaches.

Reuss Pharmacy
It is the oldest continually run drugstore in the state of Texas, and its history is painted along the back of the building. From a pharmacist mixing medicine, to antique medicine bottles, the murals convey the history of Reuss as part of Cuero.

The Longhorn Ranch Restaurant
You walk in and everyone turns to see who came in. Old friends are at every table, and the lady from down the street is in her usual seat, but other than the food, the main attraction covers the exterior of the building. When you see the white building sitting alone along Highway 87 just on the outskirts of town, you know you have found The Longhorn Ranch Restaurant.
