Ribbons, Festivities, Fun after Fives, OH MY!

October was a busy month for Cuero and our Chamber!

October 10th kicked off Turkeyfest with a Fun after Five, followed by the the 47th Annual Turkeyfest with a great music lineup, BBQ and Kids Cook-off, family fun activities, parade and the Great Gobbler Gallop!

October 16th, Keep Cuero Beautiful hosted a ribbon cutting for the beautiful new landscaping put in at John C. French! Chamber and Main Street Executive Directors Angie & Sandra teamed up and represented Cuero at the Texas State Fair working the Heritage Booth in the Go Texan Pavilion.

October 21st, The Chamber hosted the I-10 Alliance monthly meeting at the Proctor-Green House followed by a tour of Chisholm Trail Museum and The Warhol exhibit.

October 22nd, The Paws and Claws resale shop hosted a Ribbon Cutting Celebration opening their new resale shop to help raise funds for the SNYPD (Spay Neuter Your Pet DeWitt County) program.

October 21 – 26th, The Miss Cuero Chamber of Commerce float made a debut at the HOWL-O-WEEN pet parade and was used as the stage for pictures of the winners at the Downtown Farmers Market. Proceeds from the parade entries went to help Pet Adoptions, Miss Cuero and her court participated in four parades around Texas this month bringing home 2 first place awards for their float!

New members this month are; Barrie Inspections and Consulting, Cuero Masonic Lodge #409, and Individual Member Jeff Lenhart. Thank you for investing in the Cuero Chamber of Commerce Agriculture & Visitor’s Bureau!
