Each year, nature's beauty is in bloom down the lanes and by-ways of DeWitt County. Over 1,000 species of wildflowers are indigenous to the county. DeWitt County is known as the Wildflower Capital of Texas because of this fact. Color-coded route maps are available at the Chamber office, 124 E. Church Street, to give you the best views of flowers.
