Cuero is a town filled with American stories of which the community gets together to celebrate. Festivities kick off at 9 a.m. in the City Park Pavilion. The celebration in Cuero is as traditional and old fashioned as they come, filled with watermelon seed spitting contests, cake walks, dunking booths, great barbeque, ice cream, face painting. Daytime activities are hosted by the Cuero Area Ministerial Alliance. Activities will conclude at 1 p.m. with a closing prayer. At 9 p.m. the City of Cuero will be sponsoring the annual July 4th Fireworks show. Enjoy your Independence Day Celebration in Cuero!
